Save money

A few months ago, I started using a dedicated savings plan.  Below you will see an interactive spreadsheet that is just like the one that I use on a paycheck to paycheck basis.

It’s pretty easy to set it up for your use.  Since I get paid weekly, I divided my monthly expenses (cell phone, insurance, cable) by four to get what each week would equal.  Then I take what is left and split it into three different accounts (Columbus State, Laptop, and Car) so that I can pay as much for these upcoming purchases in cash and live debt free.

To set it up for you, find out what your monthly expenses are and divide those by the the number of paychecks that you receive each month and enter that into the “Paycheck after set expenses” and ta-da, you have a great savings plan.

Enjoy!!
